NETHATE Workshop – “Contemporary issues on hate”
The workshop focus on Right-wing extremism in Germany: historical development & recent developments such as online RWE media & propaganda strategies, and innovative forms of right-wing extremism. This will complement the presentation and discussion of critical approaches to hate crime.
NETHATE Summer School on Human Rights and Religion
One week of Human Rights and Religion Summer School at Trinity College Dublin finished! For the full week, we alongside other colleagues, engaged on a broad range of topics including religious hatred, morality, international law, violence against women, anti-Muslim racism, and interpretations of Islamic law!
Annual NETHATE Meeting at FSU Jena
At the end of March 2022, NETHATE held its annual meeting at the University of Jena! At this exciting in-person gathering, we discussed hate speech definitions, the current state of all the projects, ethical considerations in research, as well as approaches to countering hate speech. Our Projects
We are an interdisciplinary team of international researchers to tackle a highly ambitious and relevant research project on the nature of hate.
The participation of 10 universities and 1 NGO as the network Beneficiaries and 14 Partner organizations (Ministries, companies, and NGOs) are all deeply involved in different perspectives of this area – Psychology & Neuroscience, Technology & Social Media, Culture, Ideologies, & Religion.
